For the Panth's Chardi Kala: Our Seva

Access to academic education and spiritual education are pillars of a strong Panth. However, sustained investments in these areas are limited in the Sikh community - making it harder to empower the Panth. While giving school fees for multiple students over the last five years, we have thought about how we can empower families to not simply rely on donations, but be independent and prosper with a little help. SEA was formed in BC, Canada to tackle these challenges and with hopes of starting to provide this help.

This association will be working on empowering Sikhs by:

• Providing scholarships to needy Sikh girls.
• Providing interest-free loans and/or donations to needy Sikh families to launch, change, or expand their businesses.
• Providing mentoring and career guidance to Sikh youth.
• Providing support in researching, publishing and distributing Sikh history and literature.
